Debenhams has partnered with global lifestyle brand Nautica, making the brand now available to purchase through its online marketplace.
The news comes as the US-based retailer, which is best known for its ‘preppy’ apparel, relaunched in the UK and EU market last year, with head of design Tim Peck heading up the brand.
Nautica’s full spring/summer 2023 collection is now available to purchase online and features menswear and womenswear, ranging from tees and gilets to swim and shorts and sweaters. Each piece embodies “nautical-themed” colours and prints, with prices starting from £25.
Nautica Competition, part of the Nautica brand, will also be stocked on the marketplace, featuring designs influenced by competitive sailing “with an urban spirit”.
Jennie Bianco, head of marketing for Nautica EU, said: “We’re always looking for ways to make shopping with Nautica more convenient for our customers, so we’re delighted to be able to expand the brand’s accessibility by being available on Debenhams.com.
“Being stocked on the Debenhams site will give Nautica visibility to new customers who may not have heard of the brand before, and we’re excited to share the Nautica offering with the Debenhams’ consumer.”
The partnership is the latest in a stream of brand-focused announcements by Debenhams, which was purchased by online fashion retailer Boohoo back in 2021.
