Marks and Spencer has announced the appointment of former Asos managing director, Jag Weatherley, as transformation director for its fashion, home and beauty business.
Weatherley, who will take up the role in January 2026, joined Asos in 2012 as head of merchandising and went on to hold a series of senior posts, including managing director for Europe and the rest of the world. She previously spent a decade at Topshop Topman as a senior merchandiser.
John Lyttle, managing director of fashion, home and beauty at Marks and Spencer, said: “Jag’s appointment marks an important next step in completing our fashion, home and beauty leadership team and upping the pace of our transformation.
“Jag brings a brilliant set of expertise as we continue to build momentum and reshape M&S for growth.”
The hire follows the appointment of Jon Rolls last week as commercial and operations director for fashion, home and beauty. Rolls joined from Primark, where he was group director of planning and space and a member of the executive team.
It also comes after reports earlier this month revealed that Rachel Higham, chief digital and technology officer at Marks and Spencer, is stepping down.
