On the final episode of season three we sit down with Claire Watkin, CEO of The Fine Bedding Company, a fourth-generation business founded in 1912. She shares how the brand has performed in recent years and what its proposition really stands for today. We explore balancing heritage with innovation, building sustainability into products and operations, and the journey to a zero-waste eco-factory in Estonia. Claire also unpacks earning consumer trust, making the investment case, and her advice to the next generation of leaders.

Superdrug has announced that it is freezing the prices of over 100 everyday essential products across personal care, beauty and healthcare in a bid to help customers with the current cost of living crisis.

The health and beauty retailer said it will freeze these prices for at least one year, which will be across categories such as oral health, period products and hair-care.

Superdrug’s price freezes will run alongside the offers that are already in place. The retailer said it will also retain its 100% happiness guarantee, whereby if customers are not happy with their Superdrug Own Brand product they will receive a refund, along with a 25% discount off their next own brand purchase.

Jamie Archer, Superdrug’s own brand director, said: “It is really important to us that we support our customers as much as we can throughout the cost-of-living crisis, so we have taken the decision to freeze prices on over one hundred everyday health and beauty essentials.

“We’ve selected a range of customer favourites, along with everyday essentials to include in the price freeze to ensure that our shoppers can benefit from our prices and quality across the must-have aspects of their lives.”
