The Cotswold Company appoints three to leadership team

Jim Sharp will work closely with CEO Ralph Tucker and investors as chairman to build on the company’s past five years of growth

Furniture and homewares brand, The Cotswold Company has announced the appointment of Jim Sharp as chairman, Matt Pollington as chief marketing officer, and Mike Ellis as director of merchandising. 

Sharp has built his career at Schroeder’s and Jimmy Choo, having chaired several high-growth digital brand-led retailers such as Seraphine, Feelunique, In The Style and YouGarden. 

In his new role, he will work closely with CEO Ralph Tucker and investors to build on the company’s past five years of growth, as well deliver on the brand’s future plans.

Pollington, who is the former global director of customer and marketing at Made.com, also held senior merchandising roles in Sainsbury’s and The White Company.

He said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Cotswold Company to help customers bring to life the vision of their home. In a crowded market, I’m looking forward to shining a light on the brand’s uncompromising quality and service, placing them front of mind for homewares inspired by the rhythm of life and nature.”
