The Portman Estate has signed five diverse new brands to boost Edgware Road, Marble Arch and the west side of Portman Marylebone’s retail, leisure and cultural offer.

Moco Museum is joined by Maculara, ZULA Burger, WatchHouse Coffee and Mandy Zhang Art, highlighting the Estate’s “ongoing commitment to developing its balanced offering of independent and international brands”.

Independent eye care company, Maculara, will open its first store at Regent House, Edgware Road, this summer and will offer an extensive range of premium eyewear and eyecare.

Meanwhile, WatchHouse will open its twentieth London coffee house at 60 Seymour Street this summer and will take up 800 sq ft.

The wave of new lettings across Marble Arch follows the Oxford Street signing by Great Portland Estates of TK Maxx for a 22,500 sq ft store at Mount Royal and commitment from Superdrug to renew for 10 years at their existing Marble Arch store.

Unit 4 at Regent House on Edgware Road is currently available for rent on enquiry. Comprising 2,729 sq ft of prime retail space, it is part of a mixed-use development that features office, residential and commercial space.

Tom Knight, portfolio director at The Portman Estate, said: “This selection of signings will continue the evolution of retail, leisure and culture across The Portman Estate. The arrival of new, independent and global brands is a clear indicator of retail resilience in the West End, and a testament to our vision and efforts to curate a high-quality offering.

“Our new occupiers will diversify experiences across the west side of the Estate, accelerating our plans to drive regeneration in Marble Arch and Edgware Road. The arrival of Moco Museum is a key milestone in the regeneration of Marble Arch into a leading international retail and leisure destination.”
