Capital and Regional appoints former Debenhams director

Retail property investors Capital and Regional, has appointed former Debenhams director of group property as its new commercial director.

Prior to taking the role, he worked at the company as a consultant, and has since been working alongside its senior leadership team to support the company’s community strategy.

Hadfield will be responsible for directing the leasing team, CML and temp lettings to drive new retail deals and execute asset management strategies to optimise the use of space across Capital and Regional’s portfolio of eight community shopping centres.

Hadfield, said: “It is great to join the team on a permanent basis. It has been an exciting journey so far. I am looking forward to unlocking the opportunities that exist and working further with the senior leadership / leasing teams to convert new deals hand in hand with driving the community strategy forward.”
