Morrisons has launched a rapid grocery delivery service, allowing customers to order up to 30 items for delivery within an hour.
The service, called Morrisons Now, is available from today in 158 stores and is expected to reach 420 locations nationwide by the end of October. Customers living near participating branches can place orders through Morrisons.com or the Morrisons Groceries app.
Orders will be fulfilled by courier partners using bikes or cars, with real-time tracking available from store to doorstep. The retailer said the service is designed for smaller, urgent shops such as forgotten ingredients or last-minute meals.
Morrisons Now integrates with existing Morrisons.com accounts, enabling customers to use saved addresses and payment details, earn More Card points and access in-app promotions.
Group online director Charlotte Exell said: “We are delighted to offer this service to our customers across the country, supporting them with fresh food delivered fast. We know that life is busy and Morrisons Now is here to make those everyday moments easier, delivering what you need, within as little as an hour.”
The company said the launch forms part of its wider push to improve convenience and expand access to fresh food.
