Seasalt has announced it has partnered with Reskinned, to launch a new takeback and resale scheme.

As part of the scheme, Seasalt has committed to taking in old clothes from customers, repairing them, and reselling them on its website.

Those that contribute to the scheme will be given up to £25 off a new or old item.

Seasalt said: “We truly believe our clothing has so much more to give after you’ve finished wearing it. It’s why we’ve partnered with Reskinned, so we can write a new chapter for Seasalt clothes that you have loved and lived in.

“By choosing pre-loved Seasalt items when you want to update your wardrobe, you’re saving clothes from landfill and helping to give these garments a second life.”

Seasalt is the latest company to offer a resale option on its website, with both Patagonia and Finisterre offering the same as companies become increasingly conscientious about their sustainability practices.
