Cadogan has announced it has secured more than 28,000 sq ft of new long-term lettings on King’s Road, including several international and UK debut stores.

Dutch menswear brand Mr Marvis has chosen 52 King’s Road for its London debut, while luxury womenswear label Needle and Thread will open at 102 King’s Road.

It said the lettings build on a year of strong activity, following the London flagships of Maksu and Cefinn, and UK launches for French brands Jonak, Soeur and Ysé. Footwear brand Birkenstock has also joined the line-up alongside further new arrivals Alice and Olivia, activewear brand Vuori, and French fashion house A.P.C.

Cadogan said King’s Road remained a draw for brands seeking “high-footfall, characterful locations”. In annual results published in June, the estate reported a 4% increase in footfall and a 3% rise in consumer spending last year, outperforming central London averages.

James Stoll, property director at Cadogan, said: “The King’s Road continues to evolve and these latest openings underscore the continued strength of physical retail in the best destinations.

“The momentum we’re seeing reflects real confidence in well-connected, high-footfall neighbourhoods, cementing Chelsea’s position as one of London’s most vibrant shopping and lifestyle destinations and these exciting, international brands – many choosing Chelsea for their UK debut – perfectly complement the area’s distinctive character and global reputation.”
