On the final episode of season three we sit down with Claire Watkin, CEO of The Fine Bedding Company, a fourth-generation business founded in 1912. She shares how the brand has performed in recent years and what its proposition really stands for today. We explore balancing heritage with innovation, building sustainability into products and operations, and the journey to a zero-waste eco-factory in Estonia. Claire also unpacks earning consumer trust, making the investment case, and her advice to the next generation of leaders.

Luxury streetwear brand Represent has appointed former Dr Martens CEO Kenny Wilson as its new chair and non-executive director.

In his new role, Wilson will be responsible for accelerating Represent’s growth and global expansion.

He served as Dr Martens CEO from 2018 until March 2025. During his tenure, he successfully tripled the size of the business, navigated challenges of the pandemic, took control of the brand globally, expanded its DTC, transformed its supply chain and took the company public.

Before joining Dr. Martens, Wilson held senior leadership roles, including chief executive at Cath Kidston, president of Europe for Claire’s, and senior vice president of commercial operations at Levi Strauss and Co.

Wilson said: “I am delighted to be joining Paul and the team at Represent and to be partnering with True.Represent has driven remarkable growth in recent years and that is testimony to the strength of the brand and team.

“I’m excited by the potential of the Represent and 247 brands and I look forward to helping the team grow them around the world.”

Paul Spencer, Represent CEO, added: “As soon as we met Kenny, we knew he would be a great addition to the Represent team.

“His strength lies not just in his wealth of experience in scaling global consumer brands at the highest level, but also in his work ethic, vision and strategic approach to business. We felt instantly that his values perfectly aligned with ours and he will no doubt be a formidable asset and support to our ongoing mission; to build the best brand in the world.”
