Lees of Scotland, the confectionary company, has bolstered its senior management team following a series of internal promotions and strategic appointments.

Martin Ruck will join as development and technical director, having worked within the food industry for over 30 years. He will be “focusing on driving forward new and improved products.”

Also joining are Robert Russell as a buyer, and Tim Clark as HR and training manager. Russell will be responsible for all ingredients and packaging, with Clark overseeing the improvements across HR and training functions.

Lees will also see new roles for Sheevaun Thomas and Mark Higgings. Thomas will become commercial development manager, while Higgings takes on the role of supply chain manager.

Clive Miquel, CEO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Martin, Robert and Tim to the team and congratulate Mark and Sheevaun on securing their new positions.”

Ruck added: “This is a really exciting year for us and it’s great to be a part of a business that is willing to invest in its team and develop new ways of working.”
