Cox and Cox, a luxury homeware brand, has announced the appointment of Paul Strudwick to its senior leadership team as marketing director.

Strudwick joins from Sofa.com, where he headed the group’s marketing department for three years. Prior to this, he also held roles at s BskyB and Charles Tyrwhitt

In his new role, Strudwick will be “challenged” with driving the brand forward by exploring new markets, increasing brand awareness, and developing the brand’s marketing strategy for its “next stage of growth”.

The announcement comes as the group recently posted a sales growth of 74.5% year on year for the period ending January 2021.

Richard Bell, CEO at Cox and Cox, said: “This is a great appointment for Cox and Cox. Paul not only brings considerable experience, but also the boldness and energy to add to the team as we continue to break new ground.”

Strudwick added: “Cox and Cox has always been a brand I have admired – personally for its beautiful product range, but professionally for its best-in-class customer orientated marketing strategy. I’m thrilled to be joining the leadership team to drive the marketing strategy forward, amplify brand awareness, open new markets and ultimately continue to drive strong growth.”
