Danish retail group Jysk plans to open up to 100 new stores across European capitals and major cities over the next three years.
The expansion strategy targets locations such as Amsterdam, Oslo and Stockholm. The firm aims to establish 30 outlets in these hubs by August 2026.
The remaining 70 stores are scheduled to open by August 2028. Recent openings in Dublin and Amsterdam will be followed by sites in Barcelona and Madrid.
Jysk currently operates more than 3,600 stores. The new phase of growth focuses on increasing physical presence in high-density urban areas to reach more customers.
President and chief executive Rami Jensen said: “With more than 3,600 stores primarily across Europe, JYSK is already widely established and known for our great offers in many places.
“But there is still room for more JYSK stores when we look at the map of Europe, and we want to get even closer to the many customers who live in European capitals and other key cities.”
