Korean beauty retailer Pureseoul has announced it will open its sixteenth store in Bath later this month, marking the retailer’s first expansion into the South West.
The store, which will be located at SouthGate, will stock more than 1,000 skincare, makeup and haircare products. Pureseoul partners with over 60 brands – including Torriden, RealBarrier and Sungboon – to provide “a curated selection of products”.
It comes as SouthGate property manager British Land confirmed the lease agreement as part of ongoing efforts to evolve the retail destination.
The expansion also follows a strategy to secure locations with strong footfall and cultural alignment. The company aims to nearly double its total store count throughout 2026, with an opening date for the Bath branch to be confirmed later this month.
Laurence Budden, senior asset manager at British Land, said: “Pureseoul is an exciting brand that will bring something truly distinctive to Bath’s retail landscape. K-Beauty has huge momentum with UK consumers, and Pureseoul’s highly sought-after product ranges and strong brand following make it a fantastic addition to SouthGate.”
Leslie Tang, chief executive and co-founder of Pureseoul, added: “Bath is a key part of our 2026 expansion. As a globally visited city with a deep-rooted connection to wellbeing, it felt like the perfect place to bring K-beauty closer to the South West.
“It’s also one of the few cities where physical retail still feels genuinely exciting and brings us closer to doubling our store count this year.”
