Sephora UK has announced it will open its first store in Northern Ireland on 12 February 2026, marking the beauty retailer’s debut on the island of Ireland.

The store will be located in Victoria Square, Belfast, and will be Sephora UK’s first opening of 2026 and its 13th UK store since entering the market in 2023.

The Belfast outlet will span about 2,550 sq ft in the city centre shopping destination. It follows a series of regional openings in 2025 in Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester, Cardiff and Oxford.

Sephora UK has said it plans to operate 20 stores across the UK by the end of 2026. After the Belfast launch, the retailer is due to open a store in Bristol’s Cabot Circus later in the spring.

The Belfast store will stock Sephora’s own-brand Sephora Collection alongside a range of international beauty brands, including several exclusive to the retailer in the UK.

Sarah Boyd, managing director of Sephora UK, said: “This opening will mark another first for Sephora UK – our first store in Northern Ireland, located at Belfast’s Victoria Square. We’re truly committed to bringing our beauty playgrounds to all corners of the nation.”

Julie King, senior asset manager at Commerz Real, which manages Victoria Square, added: “The arrival of such a significant global beauty brand is a milestone moment for Victoria Square and a strong endorsement of Belfast as a leading retail destination.”
