Clarks has announced plans to launch its first digital marketplace in the UK in early 2026.

The platform, Clarks Marketplace, will bring together a range of partner brands under the Clarks name, extending the retailer’s offer beyond footwear.

Confirmed partners include Hunter, Frugi, Antler Luggage, Tinc, Apatchy London, Mini Cuddles, Toby Tiger, Celtic and Co., Turtle Doves and Kettlewell Colours, with more to be announced.

The move follows Clarks’ decision earlier this year to introduce branded school uniform clothing in selected stores and online, alongside an expanded accessories range including bags, purses and wallets.

The announcement comes during Clarks’ 200th anniversary year, which has seen the release of a documentary film, new store openings, brand collaborations with Martine Rose, Liam Gallagher and Nicholas Daley, and the launch of Pace, its first performance walking shoe.

In October, Clarks will publish a limited-edition commemorative coffee table book, From Somerset to the World, featuring material from its archives.

Joe Ulloa, Clarks president for UK and Europe, said: “This is an exciting step in Clarks’ growth journey. By partnering with like-minded brands that share our values of quality and value, we can deliver an enhanced shopping experience that reflects what today’s customers are looking for.”

Ben Allen, wholesale manager at Frugi, added: “We are delighted to be one of the first brands announced to join the Clarks marketplace. Having successfully partnered with Clarks before, this is the perfect opportunity to grow together.”
