Co-op has partnered with Holland and Barrett to launch a new health and wellbeing offer across 125 convenience stores from today (27 August).

The new range, housed in dedicated “health and wellness” bays, will include 52 product lines such as vitamins and supplements, with a focus on gut health, family wellbeing and preventative health. Brands featured include Holland and Barrett, Symprove and Zooki.

Pack sizes will be tailored for convenience shopping, designed to provide top-ups of popular products.

Additionally, the range will sit alongside Co-op’s existing sports nutrition offer, introduced at the end of 2024.

Francesca Miller, commercial buying manager at Co-op, said: “The proactive health and wellness market is continuing to grow at a significant rate, and we believe the convenience sector has a huge role to play in supporting our shoppers as more and more of them take positive steps to improve their health and wellness.”

Anthony Houghton, chief executive for the UK and Ireland at Holland and Barrett, added: “This partnership with Co-op is an important step forward in making health and wellness more accessible. By combining our product expertise with Co-op’s strong community presence, we’re creating a trusted and convenient route to preventative health for customers across the UK.”
