Morrisons Folkestone to create 30 jobs with online expansion

Morrisons is creating more than 30 full and part-time jobs at its Folkestone store as it expands its online shopping service.
The supermarket will begin fulfilling online orders directly from its Cheriton Road branch in August.
New roles include home delivery drivers, online team leaders and customer assistants.
As part of the expansion, customers will be able to order more products for home delivery or click-and-collect, including fresh items from the company’s Market Street counters such as bread, cakes and pizza.
Party food from Morrisons’ Food to Order service will also be available online.
Shoppers can choose same-day delivery, book delivery slots up to four weeks in advance, or use click-and-collect. Delivery costs start at £1.50, with passes available for unlimited deliveries.
Charlotte Exell, group online director at Morrisons, said: “We’re continuing to grow our online services and we are very excited to be expanding the range of Market Street products our online customers can choose from in Folkestone. We look forward to serving the community of Folkestone and welcoming over 30 new colleagues to our team in August.”
