TFG London, owner of Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff fashion brands, has appointed Julia Monro as chief brand officer, with immediate effect.

Reporting to the CEO, Monro will work closely with brand and cross-functional teams to define and implement marketing strategies that give TFG London’s house of brands a distinctive voice and platform.

She has been brand director at White Stuff for five years where she spearheaded a brand transformation effort that modernised White Stuff’s identity. The rejuvenation of White Stuff’s brand through a curated and innovative marketing strategy has helped to fuel its commercial success and attract record numbers of new customers in recent years.

Prior to White Stuff, Monro spent six-and-a-half years at Pret in a variety of senior roles, most recently as marketing director, and six years in marketing at Marks and Spencer Group.

Justin Hampshire, CEO, TFG Brands London, said: “Since acquiring White Stuff in October 2024, I have been impressed by Julia’s creativity and innovative approach to marketing the brand. I am confident she is the right person to step into this newly created group role to lead the brand, marketing, and creative direction across Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff. I look forward to working with Julia and the wider TFG London executive team as we continue to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.”

Monro added: “I am really excited to take on this new role as chief brand officer across TFG London’s fantastic portfolio of fashion brands. This is an amazing opportunity to lead the group’s brand, marketing, and creative direction while continuing to develop and grow these already well-loved brands.”
