Footasylum has welcomed a year of “record” profits and sales, with pre-tax soaring by 188% to £17.2m, up from £6m the prior year.

In the year ended 25 January 2025, total revenues rose by 9.4% to £349.5m, up from £319.5m in FY24, as the group welcomed its “best-ever financial performance”.

It comes as store sales rose by 3% to £172m, driven by new store openings based on the group’s Oxford Street blueprint, while online sales increased 6% to £143.6m, and now account for 41% of Footasylum’s total sales.

Meanwhile, existing brand sales rocketed 101% thanks to new and existing wholesale  partnerships, and now make up 10% of total sales.

Over the year, womenswear sales rose by 18% while Juniors sales were up 17%, after both categories became key focus areas for the group. Their growth was supported by larger stores as well as brand extensions.

Looking ahead, the group said its “strong performance” has continued into FY26, and it is  “confident” there will be another year of growth ahead.

David Pujolar, CEO of Footasylum, said: “We are pleased to report another year of record revenue and profit performance,  demonstrating our resilience in a challenging market environment. Our strategic initiatives and new organisational structure have proven effective and position us  strongly for sustained growth.

“This year has been transformative as we evolve from a traditional retailer into a  multifaceted group with diverse channels and creativity. We are excited to have  formed strategic partnerships with global brands such as Nike, Adidas and New  Balance. These collaborations elevate our offering and reflect our commitment to  delivering the best on-trend products to our consumers.”

Nick Scott, Footasylum’s CFO, added: “Building on the phenomenal success of FY24, we are delighted to report that FY25 has delivered Footasylum’s best-ever financial performance. We achieved record revenues, profits and cash generation, driven by sales growth in all business  channels.

“Our performance was also supported by the success of our creative content channels, which now boast an astonishing 6.7 million followers and generated more than three billion organic impressions over the year.”
