Mango Home to open first standalone store

On this episode of Talking Shop I’m joined by Alain Bejjani—former Group CEO of Middle East retail giant Majid Al Futtaim, and author of the definitive new book, NEXT: Leading Through the New Realities. Drawing on his childhood in war-torn Beirut, and his experience steering a $9.5bn dollar retail and lifestyle empire through a global pandemic, Alain brings an unmatched perspective on leadership under pressure. Today, we break down his crisis survival playbook for retailers operating in distress. We discuss why resilience must always outpace efficiency, the four assets a brand must protect at all costs, and how to turn macro-turmoil into a long-term direction that scales.

Mango Home has announced the opening of its first stand-alone store, located at 586 Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona.

With a selling space of nearly 400 m², the new space will open its doors in early April.

The arrival of this store marks a milestone in the growth strategy of Mango Home, which since its launch in 2021 has more than doubled in size, consolidating its presence in 34 online markets, mainly in Europe and the United States.

The opening is part of its 4E 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, through which the company seeks to strengthen its positioning in the home sector and improve the shopping experience in its physical and digital channels.

After incorporating the decoration and homeware categories last year, the company now incorporates new references for all rooms in the home, from the living room to the bedroom, including a new line of fragrances, lighting and a textile collection for baby and kids.

The line is also completing its value proposition with new products resulting from collaborations with artisans.
Nuria Font, director of Mango Home, said: “This opening is a key step forward in the evolution of Mango Home.

We want our customers to enjoy the experience of designing their home and to appreciate the quality of our products, which reflect their style and personality. This space is designed to inspire and to consolidate our vision of the home, with a differentiated offer based on design, quality and sustainability.

“Our home is the place where we create memories. At Mango Home we want to help our customers create unique spaces, with pieces designed to excite and last over time. This store is a reflection of our commitment to design, quality and craftsmanship.”
