It is believed that 31 of its US stores and nine of its Canada-based stores are set to close, and both areas can no longer shop on the brand’s website.

Following its acquisition, Ted Baker entered a brand licensing partnership with Dutch group AARC, which owned and operated Ted Baker’s retail stores and ecommerce platform in the UK and Europe, but this was abandoned in January 2024 due to a dispute.

Ted Baker has already announced that 15 of its 46 UK stores have closed, affecting 245 jobs.
Authentic Brands Group has been contacted for comment.
