Covent Garden’s Seven Dials is set to welcome heritage candlemaker Trudon for its UK bricks-and-mortar debut.
Trudon, the luxury French candlemaker which was founded in 1643, is the oldest, active candlemaker in the world and together with Shaftesbury Capital, will launch the UK debut store this June.
Manufactured in Normandy using knowledge inherited from master candlemakers, Trudon offers a luxury range of candles, perfumes, diffusers and room sprays.
The new boutique will be located on Monmouth Street, joining fellow artisan and heritage brands Aesop, Kiehl’s, Le Labo, Miller Harris, Pierre Herme Paris and recently announced global beauty pioneer, Elemis.
Customers will be able to personalise gifts and try a range of scents including Orange Blossom, Moroccan mint tea and Floral Garden.
