Scottish chain store M&Co has confirmed the closure of 43 of its sites by the end of the month.

The move comes after M&Co announced that the company will close all its 170 shops after going into administration a few months ago. It has since been bought by AK Retail Holdings, the owner of Yours Clothing

At the moment, the retailer is running a closing sale with at least a 50% discount on all its products.

In an official announcement, M&Co said that it is no longer trading, although some of its shops will remain open for a limited time.

A statement on the company’s website said: “AK Retail has acquired the M&Co brand, with plans to relaunch the web platform in the coming months.”
