Wolverine World Wide appoints president of global operations group

Jim Zwiers will concurrently serve as president of the international group, a position he has held since 2014, and will remain executive VP of the company and a member of the company’s executive leadership team.

Wolverine World Wide has announced the appointment of Jim Zwiers as president of the global operations group, succeeding Mike Jeppeson.

Founded in 1883, Wolverine World Wide has been a provider of branded, active lifestyle, work, outdoor sport, athletic, children’s and uniform footwear and apparel around the world.

Zwiers will concurrently serve as president of the international group, a position he has held since 2014, and will remain executive VP of the company and a member of the company’s executive leadership team.

His main responsibilities include the overseeing of the portfolio-wide sourcing, logistics, distribution, customer service, and information technology.

Zwiers has been with the footwear retailer for almost 23 years, serving in many significant operational roles including president of the performance group and president of the outdoor group, along with leadership of the company’s global eCommerce and retail businesses.

He has also held senior operational roles including senior VP with responsibility for strategy, business development, and legal.
