Rihanna to bring Savage x Fenty pop up to London

On this episode of Talking Shop I’m joined by Alain Bejjani—former Group CEO of Middle East retail giant Majid Al Futtaim, and author of the definitive new book, NEXT: Leading Through the New Realities. Drawing on his childhood in war-torn Beirut, and his experience steering a $9.5bn dollar retail and lifestyle empire through a global pandemic, Alain brings an unmatched perspective on leadership under pressure. Today, we break down his crisis survival playbook for retailers operating in distress. We discuss why resilience must always outpace efficiency, the four assets a brand must protect at all costs, and how to turn macro-turmoil into a long-term direction that scales.

International popstar Rihanna will be bringing her new lingerie line Savage x Fenty to the capital with a temporary pop up shop in London’s Shoreditch.

The range which launched in May of this year will have a storefront at Shoreditch Studios from 13 to 17 June. It is the second pop up location for the range, which held a pop in New York in May.

The shop will stock pieces from her core collection, “On the Reg” and the three other lines “U Cute”, “Damn” and “Black Widow”. The sizes are inclusive, with bras available in 32A to 44DD, and lingerie, underwear and loungewear ranging from XS to 3XL.

Many of the pieces are already sold out, but the 30-year-old singer is working to make sure that there is enough to carry over the full five days.

She shared the news on Instagram, hinting at ‘special guests and daily surprises’ leading to some fans speculating that she’ll attend on one of the days.

When the collection launched, Rihanna said: “I approach everything with the same mentality. It has to be authentic, it has to be from me, my perspective. I’ve wanted to do a lingerie line for a long time, but it was important to me that it be done right.”
