Gant has appointed Fredrik Malm as chief executive with effect from 1 December.
The move follows his joining the company in 2024 as executive vice-president commercial, brand and product.
Malm succeeds Patrik Söderström, who led the business for six years. Söderström had spent a decade at the company in total.
Malm previously served as chief executive of SNS, president Europe and international at Coach, president of sales EMEA at Ralph Lauren and retail director at Ecco.
Gant was founded in 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut, and is now present in more than 80 countries with over 600 stores. Its ranges span menswear, womenswear, youth and home.
The brand is owned by Swiss-based MF Brands Group owns several lifestyle labels including Aigle, Gant, Lacoste and Tecnifibre. The company operates in nearly 100 countries with more than 2,400 stores.
