Marks and Spencer has welcomed Emma Fox as its new head of buying for womenswear and will join in October later this year.
Fox will report to Maddy Evans who was promoted to director of womenswear earlier this year.
She joins from The White Company where she was head of buying, and having previously held buying director at Topshop and ASOS.
Fox will be working closely with the head of design, Lisa Illis and head of merchandising, Helen Wilson, and continue to build upon the “fantastic work that is underway to ensure Marks and Spencer will remain relevant to our customers”.
Annie Dore will also be joining the business as a business lead for womenswear, footwear, accessories and holiday from 12 September.
M&S said Dore brings “great experience” from multiple highstreet brands, including Dorothy Perkins and, most recently, New Look where she was head of buying. This is a new role that will focus on bringing the different product areas together.
