Discount retailer, Poundland has announced it is to sell its Pep&Co clothing range in 500 more stores, after announcing its introduction to 300 of its stores last year.

The latest stores to stock Pep&Co, mean that all 850 of Poundland’s UK and Ireland stores will stock the clothing brand as the retailer looks to compete with discount fashion retailers such as Primark.

Poundland trading director Tim Bettley, said: “Offering affordable family fashion is one of the ways we’re reinventing Poundland for our customers. Rolling out our full Pep&Co offer to 300 locations gave us real credibility. The launch of edited ranges in almost twice that number of stores means we can start to introduce more of our customers to the great value and quality Pep&Co brings.”
