Dudech also revealed that its customer base is growing โvery rapidlyโ in the UK
Uniqloโs UK boss, Alessandro Dudech, has vowed to cut prices as inflation eases out as it seeks to attract more shoppers to boost its expansion plans, the Telegraph has reported.
According to Dudech, the group plans to pass on the falling cost of materials to consumers by cutting prices on premium items.
As a result, the brand has already reduced the price of some products, with cashmere sweaters dropping from ยฃ129 to ยฃ109 in the last year and various jumpers and hoodies dropping from ยฃ39.90 to ยฃ34.90.
Dudech also revealed that its customer base is growing โvery rapidlyโ in the UK.
The Japanese company will shortly unveil its new Oxford Street flagship near Tottenham Court tube station, followed by a location on Edinburgh’s Princes Street.
He said: โWe believe in passing on those price reductions. As the prices of natural resources like cashmere and merino go down, weโre trying to bring that back to customers.โ
