Moonpig has revealed it expects its pro forma revenue to grow at a low single digit percentage rate in the first half of the current financial year.

The group currently operates the Moonpig, Red Letter Days and Buyagift brands in the UK and the Greetz brand in the Netherlands

In a new update, the online greeting cards and gifting platform said it also expects consolidated revenue growth at a mid to high single digit percentage rate, with all its brands returning to growth in the second half.

Meanwhile, adjusted EBITDA margin is expected to remain resilient and trading conditions remain in line with the company’s expectations.

The retailer has said to “continue to deliver innovation” for its customers, particularly through the launch of new features, such as the Moonpig Plus subscription service in the UK, the Greetz app in the Netherlands, as well as creative card video messages across both brands.

The news came ahead of the group’s annual general meeting which will provide an update on its performance for the current financial year to date, beginning in May.
