Seasalt Cornwall has announced the appointments of Mel Wilcox in the newly-created role of chief information officer and Duncan Tennent as the lifestyle brand’s director of strategic partnerships.
In her new roles, Wilcox will report directly to chief executive Paul Hayes, while also leading the UK and international third-partyB2B B2C sales efforts and commercial operations.
Wilcox, who will join from her previous role as the global portfolio director at Specsavers, will join the retailer’s management board.
In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping the future of IT services for the business and its customers.
Meanwhile, Tennent joins the Cornwall-based fashion retailer from Monsoon Accessorize, where he was head of international for the last six years. He was responsible for managing the international business across 27 markets and more than 200 stores.
In his new role at Seasalt, he will ensure people, internal processes, and systems are further strengthened and designed to manage growth across different business models.
