Do Royal Warrants still hold value for retailers?

After the saddening news that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away on 8 September, hundreds of food and drink brands and retailers, which have been granted a Royal Warrant from the Queen, will have to stop using the Royal Arms in connection with the business. The Royal Warrant is a sign of high quality and depicts that the company provides goods or service to the Crown. However, does the Royal Warrant still hold the same value as it did in the past?

British monarchs have been issuing Royal Warrants since the 15th Century. These warrants were issued over the centuries to craftspeople who supplied the Crown with everything from jewellery to tea.
