Dune London has announced the launch of its kids’ footwear collection, which is said to be for the first time in its 30-year history.
The new collection will reportedly debut on Dune London’s online platform on 1 July 2022 with a 22-piece girls range, inspired by “the premium design ethos” of the adult collection and will include trainers, school shoes, and “miniature versions” of existing styles.
The ‘back to school’ range will feature snaffle loafers, ribbon lace brogues, ballerinas and slip-ons, which are said to deliver “style and comfort”.
In addition, recognisable staples from the ladies’ collections are reportedly reinvented for little feet, such as the gold glitter star motif trainers, Elliza, chunky tread Chelsea boots, Peppa, as well as the 90’s-inspired snaffle loafers, Grayce, which all have adult-size equivalents to create “the perfect mini-me” opportunity.
The kids’ collection has been designed by the Dune London in-house team also responsible for the grown-up range, and are said to be “devoted to crafting trend-led collections with distinct character and considered detailing” as footwear and accessories specialists.
Daniel Rubin, founder and chairman of Dune London, said: “Introducing a Dune London kids range is something we have been mulling over for some time. Doing a “mini me” version of some of our iconic casuals and boots made so much sense. It has taken quite a few attempts to get the range just right. Now I think we have cracked it.
“We have created a range that is special and different. I am really excited by the launch and am sure this is going to be a key element of our Dune London range going forward.”
