Savoir Beds announces new managing director

Nic Alexandre will succeed Alistair Hughes, who will share his time between Savoir and his re-wilding project in Wales, UK

Savoir Beds has announced the appointment of Nicholas Alexandre as its new managing director, effective June 2022.

Alexandre will succeed Alistair Hughes, who will share his time between Savoir and his re-wilding project in Wales, UK.

As co-owner of Savoir, Hughes has been at the helm of the brand and business, driving it forward for nearly 25 years.

Hughes said: “We are delighted to have Nicholas Alexandre join the Savoir team as our new Managing Director. Nic has strong operational experience working with the British furniture brand Maker and Son, helping drive their impressive expansion and growth.

“He is passionate about craft, and his knowledge of natural materials and the full supply chain is exceptional. He shares our brand values and ambition to build on Savoir’s unique British heritage, harnessing our timeless traditions and blending them with modern innovations.”

Alexandre added: “I am honoured to be appointed as the new Managing Director of Savoir Beds, an iconic and highly respected British brand and company.
