Yoox-Net-A-Porter Group (YNAP) has announced that its own-brand label for mens fashion, Mr P., which will launch this September alongside the brand’s first foray into footwear and accessories.  

YNAP said the Mr P.’s footwear line will provide a range of designs that form the “building blocks of every man’s shoe collection”, and will feature both spanning casual and formal styles.

It revealed that the debut collection will be made up of eight footwear designs, including classic loafers, derby shoes and white leather sneakers, which will form the basis of the essentials range, available year-round.

YNAP also announced that seven seasonal shoe styles will launch for the winter season, including lace-up boots, a pair of suede desert boots and pair of shearling-lined walking boots.

Olie Arnold, style director, said: “This September drop is Mr P.’s fifth collection and I am proud of how the brand has grown during this time. Introducing footwear is a significant moment for us and I am delighted to share the results: beautifully crafted shoes with the signature Mr P. aesthetic – meaning each pair fits perfectly with the mainline apparel.”

Fiona Firth, buying director, added: “I am very excited to showcase Mr P.’s first ever footwear range. We have worked endlessly to source the best manufacturer to work with to master the shoes’ design and quality, and we are thrilled with the outcome.”

The news follows YNAP launching its first dedicated online destination for fine jewellery and luxury watches earlier this year as it continues its expansion into new markets following its acquisition by Swiss-based Richemont Group.
