Low cost retail chain Primark has appointed Paula Dumont Lopez to be its new head of womenswear.

A spokesperson for Primark said: “We are pleased to confirm that Paula Dumont Lopez has been appointed to the position of trading director of Primark and will join the company on 12 January 2018. Paula will lead the buying, merchandising and design of our womenswear business.

“Paula has a wealth of international fashion experience, and joins from Esprit where she was senior vice president and head of women’s clothing. Prior to that, she was head of product at Zara, where she worked for 10 years.”
