Topshop and Topman will return to the high street through a new partnership with John Lewis, five years after it closed all of its UK stores.
From February 2026, Topshop will be available in 32 John Lewis stores while Topman will be available in six. The brand will also be available to shop at johnlewis.com.
Peter Ruis, managing director of John Lewis, said: “Bringing Topshop and Topman back to high streets across the UK is a landmark moment, and we are thrilled to be their only nationwide store partner. It’s the ultimate proof of our strategy: offering the most-loved brands alongside the unwavering trust of our brand promise.
“I grew up with these incredible brands. They have defined our high streets, bringing edge and accessibility with an iconic British lens.”
Michelle Wilson, managing director at Topshop, added: “We’re excited to partner with John Lewis, a trusted name in British retail, to bring Topshop and Topman to high streets across the country. This partnership is a key step in our mission to bring the best of fashion to everyone, engaging with shoppers in real life and delivering the style and quality they expect from our brands.”
Last month, ASOS announced that Topshop and Topman would return to physical retail for the first time since their collapse, having secured an exclusive in-store residency at Liberty from 28 August.
The in-store edit includes tailoring, denim, dresses and everyday basics, alongside a visual takeover of the Liberty atrium.
Topshop stores closed after Arcadia Group, owned by Sir Phillip Green, collapsed in 2020 after failing to secure urgent funding needed to keep it afloat following the effects of the pandemic.
