The Highlands Stores and PPL launches Out With Style

The site will include a premium brand mix with the likes of Sandbanks, Barbour and Hunter to new upcoming brands like Spoonyard and Hay Life

The Highlands and Pace Partnership London (PPL) has launched Out With Style, a new retail concept dedicated to the outdoors.

Out With Styleโ€™s launch comes from The Highlands Stores, the owners of the flagship Barbour partner stores on Regents Street and Duke Street, with the help from the Pace Partnership London to support the concept and development.ย ย

Out With Style was brought about after the Highlands and PPL reviewed the current market of multi-brand websites, believing there was โ€œa need for something differentโ€.ย

As a result, they built a site with a โ€œtrueโ€ functional purpose that is dedicated to the outdoors โ€œfrom function to fashionโ€. The siteโ€™s tagline will be โ€˜made for the outdoors, style anywhereโ€™.ย

Brands have been curated to support the concept with two phases of onboarding from SS24 to AW24.ย

The site will include a premium brand mix with the likes of Sandbanks, Moose Knuckles, Nobis, Snow Peak, Parajumpers, Pyrenex, Woolrich, Baracuta, Barbour, Hunter, K-Way and Sandqvist to new upcoming brands entering the market like luxury Chinese brand Spoonyard โ€“ which will be an exclusive โ€“ and unisex brand Hay Life.

There will also be a focus on sustainability and aftercare, with brands such as Minnessak that repurposes old bomber jackets into bags and Clothes Doctor with products that support the lifespan of garments.

Indu Gilani, owner of The Highlands Stores, said: โ€œWe are delighted to be launching a concept that is true to our hearts and in an area we have been involved in for over 40 years.โ€

Ryan Llewellyn-Pace, founder and CEO of PPL, added: โ€œAt a time when there has been so much change in the retail landscape, we are excited to be partnering with The Highlands Stores on a project that offers the consumer a clear point of difference and reason for being.โ€

While Out With Style will debut online first, the Highlands and PPL revealed that stores are in the pipeline as part of the growth plan in future phases.ย
