Luxury Italian footwear and accessories brand Sergio Rossi has announced the appointment of Helen Wright as its new CEO, effective immediately.
Wright joins after service as the CEO at dancewear footwear company, Bloch International. She was previously also CEO at Belstaff from 2017 to 2020 and at luxury accessories brand Anya Hindmarch from 2015 to 2017.
In her new role, Wright will be responsible for the brand’s strategic transformation of the house, global strategy, as well as collaborating with stakeholders and business partners to deliver sustainable growth.
Earlier this year in may, the group, which is owned by Lanvin, announced that Paul Kotrba would take up the duties of interim CEO following the former CEO Riccardo Sciutto’s exit.
Wright said: “I am very pleased to join Sergio Rossi. More than a precious heritage brand, Sergio Rossi is an industry reference for the highest quality and style in handmade, luxury footwear, made in Italy, since its foundation in San Mauro Pascoli in 1951.
“With the support and know-how of its specialist teams, valued business partners and shareholders, the brand now turns squarely towards the future. We have important new horizons and new audiences to reach as we revitalise this great company.”
She added: “We’re inspired by our past and motivated by the bright future we have already started to build together.”
