Bloom & Wild unveils first ever retail pop-ups

On this episode of Talking Shop I’m joined by Alain Bejjani—former Group CEO of Middle East retail giant Majid Al Futtaim, and author of the definitive new book, NEXT: Leading Through the New Realities. Drawing on his childhood in war-torn Beirut, and his experience steering a $9.5bn dollar retail and lifestyle empire through a global pandemic, Alain brings an unmatched perspective on leadership under pressure. Today, we break down his crisis survival playbook for retailers operating in distress. We discuss why resilience must always outpace efficiency, the four assets a brand must protect at all costs, and how to turn macro-turmoil into a long-term direction that scales.

Bloom and Wild has announced it will host a series of pop-up shops for the first time, available from 26 May to 10 July.

The pop-ups will be located across London, Bristol and Edinburgh, and they will allow customers to purchase both botanical items and homeware.

Following the concept of ‘Blood and Wild at home’, the shops will offer an exclusive range of plants, bestseller dried followers and a range of vases and pots.

The first site at Dray Walk Gallery in London will be open from 26-29 May, while the second London site will be located at Copeland Park from 16-19 June.

Meanwhile, the Bristol pop-up will be available to customers at Liberty House from 30 June to 3 July, and the last site, in Edinburgh, will open shop on Custom Lane from 7-10 July.

Additionally, a team of experts will be on hand to talk through and share sneak peeks of the upcoming bouquets within the company’s new fortnightly flower subscription.

Bloom and Wild is an online flower delivery company founded by CEO Aron Gelbard, operating from three local brands in eight markets. In 2021, the business acquired bloomon in the Netherlands and Bergamotte in France.

The company has more than tripled revenues between FY19 and FY22 and raised over £100m of equity, and it is looking to grow the team in FY22 by over 20%.
