Kingfisher announces leadership shakeup

Martin Lee, chief supply chain officer, will be leaving the Kingfisher Group after seven years working with the company

Kingfisher plc has announced a number of senior management changes to strengthen its group executive team and support the delivery of the group’s strategy.

Sebastien Krysiak, currently chief executive officer (CEO) of Castorama Poland, has been appointed to the new role of chief commercial officer, with effect from 4 April. In this role, Krysiak will assume leadership of the Offer and Sourcing, Supply Chain and Logistics and Customer Insight functions across the group.

Additionally, Pascal Gil will become the new CEO of Castorama Poland from 4 April, following his success in leading Brico Dépôt in France. Gil will also join the group executive team, and he will be replaced as CEO of Brico Dépôt France by Laurent Vittoz from 15 March.

Elizabeth Messud, Kingfisher’s general counsel, will also join the group executive team. Meanwhile, Martin Lee, chief supply chain officer, will be leaving Kingfisher at the end of May after seven years working within the Kingfisher Group.

In addition to these changes, the group executive team will consist of Thierry Garnier as CEO, Graham Bell as CEO B&Q UK and Ireland, John Mewett as CEO Screwfix, Alain Rabec as CEO France, and Adela Smeu as CEO Romania.

In addition, Kate Seljeflot is chief people officer, Henri Solère is chief offer and sourcing officer, and Jj Van Oosten is chief digital and technology officer.
