Shoe Zone expands footprint in Kent

On this episode of Talking Shop I’m joined by Alain Bejjani—former Group CEO of Middle East retail giant Majid Al Futtaim, and author of the definitive new book, NEXT: Leading Through the New Realities. Drawing on his childhood in war-torn Beirut, and his experience steering a $9.5bn dollar retail and lifestyle empire through a global pandemic, Alain brings an unmatched perspective on leadership under pressure. Today, we break down his crisis survival playbook for retailers operating in distress. We discuss why resilience must always outpace efficiency, the four assets a brand must protect at all costs, and how to turn macro-turmoil into a long-term direction that scales.

Shoe Zone is set to expand its presence in Kent through the opening of a new store in Tonbridge on 26 November 2021.

The latest site will be located at the Pavilion Shopping Centre, and will open its doors just ahead of Black Friday.

The Tonbridge store will supply shoes for children, men and women, and will stock popular footwear brands, including Lotus, Heavenly Feet, Jana Softline, Gola and Skechers.

Anthony Smith, CEO at Shoe Zone, said: “We are excited to launch the new store in Tonbridge – to offer customers easy access to great shoes and accessories at an equally great price.

“We’ll open with a complete collection of shoes, boots and slippers that are perfect for the winter season. Whether you’re out and about, or staying cosy at home, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect footwear at Shoe Zone. We can’t wait to show customers in-store.”
