Topps Tiles has welcomed a “record” year of turnover, with full-year sales up by 6.8% to £265m, following a strong trading performance in its second half.

This means the group has now achieved record years for sales in four out of the last five years.

Including CTD, total group sales rose by 17.7% to £296m, bringing the group closer to its ‘Mission 365’ goal of increasing total group sales to £365m in the medium term while hitting an adjusted profit before tax margin of between 8% and 10%.

In its latest update, the group said the improved sales performance was “widespread” across each part of the business. Throughout Topps Tiles, Parkside, Online Pure Play and CTD there was an improved year-on-year performance in the second half of the year compared with the first half.

In the second half period, like-for-like sales in Topps Tiles reached 7.7% growth, up from 3.0% in the first half, and 5.3% for the year as a whole.

These results come as the group made progress in modernising the Topps Tiles trade digital experience, increasing business-to-business sales focus, and supporting the continued growth of Pro Tiler Tools.

In its latest update, the group said: “Overall, the group’s improving trading momentum, strategic progress and strong balance sheet leave it well positioned to continue to grow sales and profit into 2026.”

In light of higher costs in the second half of the year, due to increases in National Living Wage, National Insurance Contributions and performance-related pay, adjusted profit for the year is expected to be in the range of market expectation.

Its preliminary results for the year ended 27 September 2025 will be announced on 2 December 2025.
