UK rental platform Hirestreet has launched its first ever shoe rental offering as part of a new partnership with footwear retailer Schuh.
It comes as Hirestreet said it is experiencing a record Summer for occasion wear rental, leading to a 300% increase in site traffic vs Summer 2022.
In July alone, it received over 250 requests for a shoe offering to compliment outfits. In response to this customer demand to be able to rent a full ‘look’, Hirestreet said it now has seven “core” styles of shoe available to hire.
The edit includes a range of styles to suit any occasion from high heels to wedges.

As our audience becomes more comfortable with rental, they are looking at how they utilise its power beyond just their dress or core item and create a complete rental look.
