Moto Hospitality has announced the appointment of Nikki Rogers as its first retail director, reporting directly to Nick Tatum, the company’s chief customer officer.

Rogers previously worked for Blakemore as proposition and food solutions director and before that held various senior leadership roles at BP.

Moto is one the UK’s largest motorway service area businesses, operating from more than 60 locations with over 300 branded restaurants, shops and forecourts.

Its partner brands include Marks and Spencer, Greggs, Costa Coffee, Burger King, WH Smith, KFC, BP, Ecotricity and Tesla.

Rogers said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Moto at such an exciting time. The business has a really exciting vision and the opportunity to play a part in the delivery of this is incredible. I can’t wait to get started.”

Tatum added: “I am delighted that Nikki is joining Moto in this newly created role. We have ambitious plans to grow our retail business across WH Smiths, Marks and Spencer and BP forecourts, to achieve our vision, which is ‘To transform the UK’s Rest Stop Experience’.

“Nikki has a wealth of experience that will be invaluable in helping us accelerate our ambitions.”
