Furniture retailer Oak and More has reported a 69% rise in annual revenue and a £6.2m improvement in profitability for the year to 31 January 2025, as it continues to expand across the UK.

The company, formerly known as Oak Furniture Superstore, achieved sales of £30.9m for the year, up from £18.2m the previous year. The growth came entirely from online sales, supported by a wider product range and faster delivery options.

Oak and More said the improvement reflected its investment in design, pricing and logistics, with hundreds of its best-selling lines now available for delivery within 48 hours.

Since the end of the financial year, the retailer has rebranded under the Oak and More name and launched a new website described as “cleaner and easier to shop”. It has also opened its first physical store in Peterborough, with two more due to open before the end of the year.

The company said it intends to open additional showrooms in 2026 as part of its move towards an omnichannel model combining online and in-store sales.

Oak and More designs its furniture in the UK and offers a range of solid wood, glass, marble and painted pieces. It said its wood furniture contains no chipboard, veneer or MDF and is delivered fully assembled.

The group has also secured £8m in growth and working capital to support further expansion, product development and store openings.

Paul Isom, chief executive of Oak and More, said: “It has been a truly transformational year for Oak and More. We’ve proven that even in a challenging economic environment, our commitment to design and affordable quality resonates deeply. With strong foundations and a clear growth strategy, we are incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead.

“The backing of our investors and banking partners underlines the confidence in our business model and momentum. But we are just getting started. Our ambition is to redefine what customers can expect from a furniture retailer.”
