On this episode of Talking Shop I am joined by Zipline CEO and co-founder Melissa Wong. We discuss how Melissa’s 10 years’ of frontline experience informed her approach to building a SaaS company, the recurring operational frustrations that most head offices still underestimate, and why she believes technology should be designed with the store associate as the primary user. We also explore current trends in store execution and how retailers can bridge the gap between corporate strategy and the shop floor.

Streetwear retail brand End has announced the appointment of Sebastian Suhl, former chief executive of Prada and Givenchy, as its new CEO.

Suhl joins End with an extensive retail career spanning 25 years, and steps into his new role following the departure of current CEO Parker Guerdson on 1 May 2025.

Since September 2024, Suhl has been a board member at End while simultaneously working as chief executive for Mosaiq Group.

Prior to the Mosaiq Group, Suhl also held chief executive roles for Trussardi, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Prada.

Additionally, he worked in other senior roles such as managing director at Valentino and director of business development at Courreges Design.

Suhl’s appointment comes after a comprehensive global search and was unanimously approved by its board.

Martin Brok, chairman of End, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Sebastian Suhl to lead this next chapter of growth. He brings exceptional leadership, a strong strategic vision, and a deep understanding of our industry.

“We would also like to sincerely thank Parker for his contributions and leadership during his tenure, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
