Lidl has announced it will be trialling a Click, Reserve and Collect service via the Lidl Plus app for the first time ever, allowing customers reserve popular Middle of Lidl products up to two weeks before they hit stores.
This latest trial builds on the success of Lidl Plus since it launched in 2020, which now has over 100 million users globally.
Launching today (7 April), the discounter’s Parkside Robot Lawnmower will be available for shoppers to reserve via Lidl Plus ahead of the item landing in stores on 24 April. Users of the app will be able to select their preferred store for collection between 16 and 19 April.
Alongside the lawnmower, shoppers will also be able to secure the Parkside Robot Lawnmower Garage via Click, Reserve and Collect.
Jassine Ouali, chief customer officer from Lidl GB, said: “We’re always exploring bold new ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience and are pleased to be in a position where we can bring this latest trial to life.
“We know how popular our Middle of Lidl deals are, and this trial will give our Lidl Plus customers the chance to secure a must-have item before it hits the shelves. We can’t wait to see how our customers respond.”
