Dune London opens new flagship store in Manchester

On this episode of Talking Shop I am joined by Zipline CEO and co-founder Melissa Wong. We discuss how Melissa’s 10 years’ of frontline experience informed her approach to building a SaaS company, the recurring operational frustrations that most head offices still underestimate, and why she believes technology should be designed with the store associate as the primary user. We also explore current trends in store execution and how retailers can bridge the gap between corporate strategy and the shop floor.

Dune London has announced the opening of a new 1,596 sq ft flagship store in the Manchester Arndale, expanding its presence in the North West.

The new store is fitted with Dune London’s premium flagship concept, designed in house by the retailer’s store development team.

The store brings together polished materials and a neutral colour palette to enhance Dune London’s women’s and men’s footwear and accessories collections.

Marble and stainless-steel finishes sit alongside gloss white and grey elements, working to accentuate the store design.

In addition, large illuminated light boxes in the store windows and within the store will showcase Dune London’s seasonal creative imagery, including their latest CGI enhanced festive film.

The Dune group’s CEO Nigel Darwin said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Manchester Arndale with the opening of our new store. We know we have many fans of the Dune London brand and our fabulous shoes and bags in Manchester, and we’re excited to be part of this vibrant retail centre once again.”
